The lights are fading, and a chilling mystery is about to unfold. The next chapter of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, is nearly here! Before the set officially drops on July 17, 2026, join the community at Galaxy Buster TCG for an exclusive Prerelease event to experience these new cards firsthand.  

The Shadows Deepen  

The Pitch Black expansion takes trainers into a world where familiar city lights and starry skies are suddenly swallowed by a creeping, mystical darkness. As night falls, the legendary Mega Darkrai ex emerges, bringing with it a sense of mystery, malice, and a powerful new gameplay mechanic known as "Abyss Eye".  

But the darkness won't go unchallenged. Mega Zeraora ex leads a courageous charge of lightning, striking back with high-voltage, aggressive gameplay designed to pierce through the shadows. They aren't alone, either; the set features titans like Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex, the latter of which dominates the field with a massive 340 HP and its "Maximum Drilling" attack.  

What to Expect in the Set  

With over 115 cards to collect, Pitch Black is a treasure trove for both competitive players and collectors. The expansion is defined by:  

• Stunning Aesthetics: The set features dark-themed, haunting artwork that captures the essence of the "Mega Dimension".  

• High-End Rarities: Keep an eye out for over 35 cards with special illustrations, including six elusive Special Illustration Rares, 18 Ultra Rares, and 11 unique Illustration Rares.
